Raw Sewage

I deal with a lot of poop. I change diapers for my disabled adult children. Those diapers go in a garbage bag that I take to the garbage bin once a week. Because of this I really don’t like dealing with “extra” poop. At work everyone has agreed that I am not responsible for cleaning the bathrooms. I dislike register but am perfectly willing to run one if my other choice is cleaning a public toilet. But this is not about poopy diapers and it isn’t about the mess strangers leave at Walgreens. Yesterday the sewer drain in our basement got clogged and spit back up about twenty gallons of raw sewage including about a day’s worth of used toilet paper. I took a picture and sent it to my mom since we rent the house from my parents. She said to call a plumber. I called a Brother from Church who is a full time handy man to look at the problem first. The water had drained but it had left a layer of brown soaked toilet paper which he was willing to remove for us. He coming back with a hose this afternoon. I’m glad other people will deal with some of the poop in my life, because I already deal with a lot. I hope I haven’t put you off your lunch with this rant. If you don’t have to deal with poop on a regular basis I suggest you regard the fact with gratitude.
