“Perfect”

Once and a while at work a customer says “perfect.” This happens especially when we get the right prescription to the right customer in a timely manner. It is nice to hear. Much nicer than the customers who no matter what you do for them nothing at all is right. Mind you I believe in progression not perfection. Everything can be improved and working to improve things is a worthy endeavor. I am at my best progressing towards a more perfect state but doubt that there is an end to that process. Still it’s good to feel appreciated even if I have some philosophical and religious anxiety about the concept of perfection. Tonight at work was a good night. Not a perfect one but some of our customers seemed to think it was, so who am I to argue.
