My family needs me more than Walgreens. I didn’t want to just quit, but I did ask to have my hours reduced. I will only be working there two nights a week. Truck day and tag day. I have been hesitant to get on the payroll for the supportive home care of the boys, but I have admitted the need. We have started to get all my ducks in a row to bill for that. There is always work to do here. It feels funny to me to try to get paid for it since I have been doing it for free for so long. I guess it is what it is. I explained the past few days to some of my coworkers as to why I’m needed more at home. One of them said that they needed me here. I responded that if I don’t come to Walgreens it is incredibly unlikely that anyone is going to end up in the hospital. I definitely keep people alive here. I’ll keep doing what I do.
