My wife had a migraine yesterday so I had a buddy drive me to the grocery store. We were out of chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese (among other things). Later our son who just moved out called my wife so she could take him grocery shopping. I feel a little like I wasted a trip. From the two bags of nuggets I got there’s about half a bag left. My boy can sure eat. He wanted my help with the microwave a few minutes ago and even though I had just made him another six nuggets he was still agitated. I realized the clock had been bumped and wasn’t set. I made him say “Clock please” after I took care of it. Expressive language is important because words have power.
