My wife knows I love carnations. She bought me this bouquet last week. She warned me that if I didn’t take them out of the wrapping and put them into water that they wouldn’t last long. I left them in the wrapping and hung the whole arrangement on the wall of the den. She was of course correct. They became droopy in only a few days and I had to take the whole thing down. It’s still beautiful even though it can’t be upright any longer. Life is like that sometimes. The things we put on a pedestal fade so quickly. Regardless I think carnations are awesome.
