It’s another late night that has turned into an early morning. I sit in the den as I do sometimes contemplating the combination of love and stress in my life. In particular right now I’m thinking about how I can make my wife’s life less stressful without being overwhelmed in mine. I’ve been loving her for 25 years and she’s still in love with me. I’m told that this is becoming rare in our culture. A “me first/ whatever makes you happy” attitude is detrimental to long term relationships. Maybe it’s not as bad as that out there. I know people who’ve been together as long as we have and some who have been together much longer. I don’t know how many of them are in love with each other and how many are just comfortable. So maybe we are beating the odds. I wish for you this kind of love if you want it. And as always stay awesome.
