Latter Day Sinner

Of all the words in the English language I think “interesting” is one of the least interesting. People say it to mean, “yeah, whatever” around here. Of course there’s also “fine.” Hardly anyone who says they are fine actually is. I have a friend who used to get very angry when someone said something was “cool.” You can probably see the pattern by now. The whole class of words expressing mild approval seems suspect to me. I probably use “awesome” too much as well, but that’s not going to stop me any time in the near future.
