Share a lesson you wish you had learned earlier in life.
I grew up believing I was smart. Maybe I am. I also grew up believing that being smart was a lot more important than it actually is. I am rarely the most intelligent person in the room and I wish I had learned that earlier. I still struggle with the feeling that I am not intelligent enough for what life throws at me. But I have begun to realize that persistence, consistency, and commitment do a lot more good against the trials of life than raw brain power. Being smart is not nearly as awesome as I was led to believe. That’s a lesson I’m still learning.
