Latter Day Sinner

I am an American with a whole lot of English ancestors. I grew up in the Anglican Church. Not surprisingly I was exposed to CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien, Douglas Adams, Monty Python, and Benny Hill among others. I don’t know whether I’m proud of that, but I am certainly a creature who has been inundated with all things British. I’ve got some Hessian ancestors too. I joke about my family being mercenaries sent to America to put down the ungrateful and rebellious colonists. It’s a fun story and probably has a grain of truth to it.
