I want to gently assure you my discerning reader that nothing in the world is free. There is always at least an opportunity cost and more likely than not a financial one as well. Your prescription for instance is not free. There may be a zero copay but someone somewhere is likely paying a sizable sum so that you can have the illusion that your medication is free. But again I want to gently assure you that it is not.
