Rent Dream

Sometimes my dreams make sense. I just woke up from a dream where I was living with a rental contract in a hotel. I was either the only one with that kind of contract or the first one because my paper lease had a “#1” on it. The lease was for one person and had been obtained through a video game. But the video game kept asking for more money and if I spent it there wouldn’t be money from my Walgreens check to pay rent. So I checked the lease and it didn’t require me to even play the game. I uninstalled it. I had been keeping up with friends through the game so they would have to contact me some other way. Other than the living alone everything in that dream seemed perfectly reasonable to me. Too many video games that cost too much, a tiny Walgreens check, and uninstalling a social media platform all seem in the realm of possibilities.

  1. I had a dream that the house phone rang and rang at 7:30 in the morning. It woke me up enough to check our voicemail from my bed. There wasn’t a message at the time, but I just checked and the phone really did ring. But whoever called did not leave a message. Obviously, I managed to fall back asleep, but people should not be calling at 7:30 in the morning and then not leave a message.

    1. That was your best friend because she didn’t have my cell phone number.
