Latter Day Sinner

Today is Fast and Testimony Sunday. I woke up early because of the time change and fortunately remembered that I was supposed to be fasting. My ride picked up in investigator who just moved to Wisconsin from Venezuela. I speak more Spanish than they speak English. Hopefully they found the Ward welcoming. There was also a homeless man who bore his testimony in Sacrament Meeting twice. He has a strong conviction of obedience to Latter Day Prophets. He was very spirited. After classes were done he gave me three of his paintings. We talked for a bit and I helped him set up a track phone so he can travel somewhere warmer for the winter. Then I met with the bishop about my tithing for the year. All in all it was an uplifting morning. I’m glad I remembered to fast.
