Latter Day Sinner

As Ford Prefect says in the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy movie, “Time is an illusion… Lunchtime doubly so.” Time is an inconvenience at 1:30 in the morning when I am scheduled to leave for work in exactly 12 hours. Time is a little more convenient when I’m actually working a shift and getting paid by the minute. Over all it’s probably better that I have some sense of time, so it’s probably accurate to say that I need it, but if it didn’t occasionally seem indispensable I would be interested in trying to live without it. Time is however a pain in the ass at this hour of the morning when I have insomnia for the second night in a row.
