Name the most expensive personal item you’ve ever purchased (not your home or car).
I suspect the most money I’ve ever spent is on one of my personal computers. Speed and memory cost a lot. I don’t know if my first computer and all the accessories was the most expensive adjusted for inflation in US dollars, but it was the one I worked the hardest to get. I spent a whole summer in the corn fields doing detastling to earn enough money to buy a Commodore 64. Owning my first computer started a very expensive habit, so that awesome little Commodore wins.
