Latter Day Sinner

I have lived all over the Midwest of the United States. I have lived on both coasts of my country. I traveled to Germany once as a tourist. But mostly I have been here in Janesville Wisconsin. I don’t want to be an ugly American or an American idiot whose only gift to a foreign country is my dollar bills. In part this is because I don’t have very many dollar bills to give, but a bigger portion of my recalcitrance is that if I go somewhere I want to know that I leave it a better place. There’s work to do all over the world in that regard. I am ill equipped to serve in a foreign country. Sometimes I think I’m ill equipped to serve right where I am. But I wish to serve and work. If some far flung place has a need for my particular skill set and I must be present to provide those skills I could probably be convinced to travel again.
