What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever found (and kept)?
When I was in my twenties I found a pair of black dress shoes. I don’t remember exactly where, but I think I found them rather than buying them or getting them as a gift. They were a little worn at the time. They were also extremely comfortable. I wore them all over town. This was when I was walking everywhere. They weren’t walking shoes so I eventually wore holes in the soles. At the time our town had a cobbler. I took the shoes in to have the soles replaced. They were not as comfortable but they were still functional. I still have them and I still wear them. Those old beat up black dress shoes are awesome.

And we’ve actually danced in them. Badly, but it was still fun.

Those shoes have served us well.

Yes, they have. But it’s still OK to want new ones.

Not much is left of Dodge Street. I still have my missionary suit. Giving up the shoes won’t be as hard as when that suit has to go.
