Latter Day Sinner

I don’t know much about the year I was born. It’s not like I have any memories of the music or politics from when I was an infant. I’m pretty sure Simon and Garfunkel were still together and that the Vietnam War was in full swing. But I’ve been told by my mother about the day I was born. It was in northern Wisconsin and the temperature was 30 degrees below zero. The hospital wouldn’t let her leave with me that morning because they were worried I’d freeze to death on the way home. Good times.
