Where can you reduce clutter in your life?
I am kind of a pack ratt. I collect things that I might need later. They usually start in piles in desks and tables. Sometimes I will sort through the piles and throw stuff away. But I never throw away whole piles. If everything in a pile could be useful later but nothing is urgent, then the pile will go into a box. Sometimes I will sort through the boxes and throw stuff away. Sometimes I will just move the boxes to the basement. We have a crap load of boxes in our basement. 98% of the stuff that I throw away I never end up needing. 80% of the stuff in a box in the basement I never end up needing. But those exceptions reinforce my pack ratt behavior. I could theoretically reduce a lot of clutter in my life but my mental health would pay a terrible price.
