Latter Day Sinner

As anyone who has been following along knows, I have a wide range of spiritual interests and influences. So just in general fundamentalism bugs me. There is, and I am sure of it, wisdom outside of Christianity and Mormonism. I find fundamentalism within Mormonism most egregious because of my conviction of the necessity and power of the Restored Gospel. So for today’s question I choose Warren Jeffs as the public figure I disagree with most. Warren is the leader of the Fundamentalist Latter Day Saints. He’s in prison for presiding over “marriages” between the men who were most loyal to him and underage girls. He also committed welfare fraud through his polygamous wives. He is the absolute worst spokesman for Mormonism that I know of. He is a blight on the Restored Gospel. And the FLDS Church doesn’t seem to have any redeeming value. So if you haven’t heard of Jeffs or the FLDS consider yourself lucky.
