Latter Day Sinner

I don’t have many regrets about the choices I’ve made in life. Any opportunity has a cost of all the other things that I cannot do. All those possible futures have been sacrificed at the moment of those choices. But those choices are very often transactional with me. I usually get something more valuable in return for the sacrifices I make. If the transactions don’t prove to be worth it, I will make different choices. Sometimes I am stubborn about making the same mistake because I don’t want to admit I’m wrong. I guess in the end the biggest sacrifice is admitting that I’ve made a mistake in the first place, repent of that mistake, and demonstrate that repentance in changed behavior.
