Do you practice religion?
I am very bad at religion so I need a lot of practice. For a few months I haven’t been practicing at all. My religious life is diminishing and starting to atrophy. I haven’t been all that sure lately that I even want to practice religion. After all I’ve been trying it on and off for my whole life. I was good at practice when I was eight. When I was a child I thought as a child. When I became a man I put childish things away.

Thank you. My father is an Episcopal priest. He often used “practicing religion” in the sense that we had to work to get better at it.
