List three books that have had an impact on you. Why?
I’m not going to do three. My list is five every time. My philosophy and worldview have been shaped by The Bible, The Quran, The Book of Mormon, The Bhagavad Gita, and The Tao TE Ching. Each one has challenged me to look for real answers beyond my own desires and ego. They point to higher orders of love and wisdom in the universe. They are treasures that show the best and worst of who we are as humans and what we aspire to when we aspire to anything at all.

Thank you. Reconciling the five is the work of a lifetime. I think everyone should read them at least once. They have shaped history.

I have read parts of all, bit not all cover to cover.

I have read all of them completely in several translations except for the Book of Mormon which has only been “translated” into English once.
