Latter Day Sinner

In the USA women have fought hard for rights that they deserve. I have no problem with a woman’s right to vote or own property. I am certain that attempts to make opportunities equal between the sexes are valid and needed. I think though that those battles have been won for the most part. But I am not a feminist at least not a radical one. I have heard for decades that because men have traditionally been in power and women have been subservient that it’s time that the tables are turned. The argument goes that a modern woman should do everything in her power to disenfranchise modern men. The line of thinking is that women deserve power and men don’t. If only the world were ruled by women then all of humanity’s problems would evaporate because the only thing holding the human race back is the men in it. It’s no longer about equality. It is blatant misandry. Perhaps you are saying no one actually thinks this way. Perhaps you don’t think the disempowerment of men is a real thing. But perhaps you are not paying attention.
