Nicknames

What’s the story behind your nickname?

I’ve had several nicknames over the years I talked about that in one of my primary posts.

When I was a kid, my friends called me X.

Not all of them. Not all of the time. But several did for a long time.

I give pet names to people and pets all the time too.

    1. So you’ve always been Agent X. Cool.

      1. I didn’t start using “Agent” until about 20 years ago blogging. My blog then was under my real name, but I followed a fascinating blogger in those days who published The Agent B Files. It’s a ghost blog now, but I commented so much for a while on his blog that I adopted the Agent name there, and when I came back to blogging several years ago, I just went with it. His blog was an inspiration for my current one.

    1. That’s awesome. I’ve been markezuma the whole time I’ve been on the internet with little variations here and there. I made one other much less successful attempt at blogging many years ago under the title “Lazy Mormon.” It still comes up sometimes when I put markezuma into a search engine but it’s usually buried a few pages in.
