Sanctify Our Lives

This morning after I ate and had an energy drink I read the first surah of the Quran, the first chapter of the Tao TE Ching, and my favorite verses from the Bhagavad Gita. They fit together remarkably well at least in my head. The Book of Mormon has a verse that says “We have a Bible, we need no more Bible.” The principle is sound that those who refuse to receive revelation will not be entitled to receive more revelation. I started learning the Bible a long time ago but I moved through other revelations to get where I am today. Allah, Tao, and The Highest are all one nameless God from which humans and angels and all our tribal gods spring. I testify that to you and invite you to join my journey of peace and reconciliation of the world’s great traditions. May we be open to receive the revelation we need to sanctify our lives and the lives of those around us.

  1. Your posts are always so interesting. I do firmly believe that many religious traditions have a lot of overlap and that the same God can have different names in different places.
