Latter Day Sinner

Magic is not successfully killing all the mice in our house. She tries very hard but I decided to get some traps to help. The traps I saw were advertised as metal cages. Sadly the ones we actually got are small plastic boxes. So far the mice have not been tricked into entering them. Magic was toying with a mouse this afternoon near one of the traps but even the threat of death by cat didn’t convince it to hide in the unit. It’s still death. Maybe the mouse knew that. Maybe it could smell me on the plastic box. Or maybe it could smell the plastic factory from whence the trap came. At any rate to the best of my knowledge no mice have died today. We’ll let this round ride before we escalate again.
