Latter Day Sinner

There’s a line in Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde that goes something about the protagonist being “the last reputable friend of downgoing men.” I identify with that line. I must admit that I very often want to stop their slow slide into depravity. I am a judgmental person and that comes in handy talking to men who have been alone too long. Ultimately it is their decision whether they take my judgement or not, but I will give it as long as I feel there is hope.
