Latter Day Sinner

I dreamed that the super heroes had failed the world and that the last one (played by Scott Bakula) was being tortured to power an evil invention. He had cosmic levels of electrical powers and was strapped by onto a giant slingshot. When the villains released the spring he was shot along a rail that collected his electricity. It only happened once in the dream and I saw it from high above. It created a giant lightning storm and the super hero could be heard screaming at the heart of it.
