Latter Day Sinner

When people deconstruct the civilization in which they live two things happen. First their society becomes less civilized. This is apparent in the disrepair of the values of the Western world. Granted some of those values are unhealthy, but at this point I think we’ve been literally throwing away a lot of babies with the bathwater. The post modernists are killing us. The other thing that happens when civilization is broken down on purpose is that it gives competing civilizations opportunities to move in and sometimes even take over. I am a Western chauvinist. I believe that American values are superior to the rest of the world. But I understand the appeal of the Middle Eastern and the Chinese civilizations. Granted I don’t want them to win but I have always been willing to learn from them. Hopefully they will see the sense of learning from us too.
