Latter Day Sinner

There always seems to be people harvesting in the scriptures. They harvest wheat, grapes, and olives. Sometimes the fields are ripe and sometimes they are wild. Sometimes the Lord of the vineyard hires workers. But what exactly are the workers harvesting? It doesn’t make sense that some people are the laborers in the field and other people are the fruit of the field. Christ said he would make his disciples fishers of men. In that case they were definitely fishing men. But laboring in the field doesn’t fit that paradigm. There must, and I am certain of this, be something other than converts as the harvest. So what would it be? I personally think it’s revelation. When we labor in Spirit we are given gifts of wisdom, knowledge, and power. The heavens open up to us. We receive fruit of our individual labors and are called to share our bounty of the field with the world. This is my revelation. Hopefully it helps you find clarity in your own.
