My wife has been telling me about a person in her childhood for years. He was kind of a jerk to her. A guy with the same name from around the same period in her life married her best friend. But she didn’t realize that they were two different guys. Now she is having an uncomfortable conversation with her friend’s husband about how she conflated the two of them. I am glad that they came to visit so that the case of mistaken identity could be solved.
