Latter Day Sinner

I got called a cultist yesterday. My skin is getting thicker about the accusation. I’m starting to realize it usually comes from people that don’t actually want to engage in theology. If someone says Protestantism is better and wants to make a positive argument about grace, salvation, or the trinity it is possible to have a rational conversation. If they don’t have a positive vision to compare to mine then not so much. There are always going to be people online that have as their whole argument “Mormon bad. Smith bad. You cult.” I need to learn not to take them seriously and perhaps not even engage at all. If all I do is respond “Mormon good. Smith Good. Not cult” it doesn’t do anyone any good. Mere contradiction is not an argument. They are not rising to the level of argument and I should not just say: Nuh UH!
