It is the weekend for the General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. That means three two hour blocks of talks today and two two hour blocks tomorrow. I have missed the first one. Don’t get me wrong I tried to find it. I put “LDS General Conference” into Duck Duck Go and clicked the top link. It led me to a discussion page about General Conference. I clicked the “Learn More” button and it took me to a page with all the previous General Conferences. I clicked another “Learn More” button and it took me to a study guide page. Then I closed the site. General Conference is already hard enough for me to psych myself up to participate. Having to dig for the URL with the actual livestream quickly depletes any spoons I’ve saved up for the experience. I might try again later, but I know it will all be printed out and the good bits will be referenced for years to come. One more cross in the Latter Day Sinner thesis.
