Latter Day Sinner

I am at the moment working on finishing a second six pack of honey ale. I’ve had a little help from a buddy. He came over and we drank together into the wee hours of the night. That’s something I haven’t done in years because I was trying hard to stay sober. I’ve got three beers left before I have to decide whether I’m going to quit again. I skipped church because I am currently conflicted with whether I can be unrepentantly breaking the letter of The Word of Wisdom (the LDS dietary laws which specifically forbid alcohol among other things) and receive the Sacrament on Sundays. I’m feeling fine and I’ve had coffee this afternoon which is also much less specifically against the Word of Wisdom. I feel fine other than the twinge in the back of my mind that drinking beer and coffee is choosing captivity and death. But that’s a spiritual rant that I distinctly do not want to be working on. Sober or drunk I will continue to try to be awesome.
