Describe a family member.
A family member is someone who is related by blood and DNA. Marriage creates a legal family and children seal the family relationship with DNA. In some cases a person is legally adopted into a family. In a more general sense one can have a church family or a work family. I have many brothers and sisters in the local ward of my church and a “work wife” at Walgreens. Spiritual and emotional bonds are not quite the same for me, but I certainly don’t need blood and DNA one way or the other to love or hate someone.
