Latter Day Sinner

Today is Fast and Testimony Sunday for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We fast for two meals and then in sacrament meeting members who are called by the Holy Spirit to bear our testimony come to the pulpit and speak the words the Spirit gives us. It is totally unscripted. Today I testified that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit would be with all of us through the changes and challenges of the next year. I also mentioned that the Spirit told me to quit Walgreens on Christmas. The official story is much more mundane, but the divine commandment makes as much logical sense as the other ones I have received. As God is my witness next year will be awesome.
