What’s the thing you’re most scared to do? What would it take to get you to do it?
I love my wife so much I want another one. I would like to have more children but that would probably require a second wife. I live in the United States where polygamy is illegal. I am a member of the LDS Church which abandoned polygamy as a condition of Utah’s statehood. If I took a second wife it wouldn’t be a legal marriage. It would be living in sin and the children wouldn’t get the same kind of protection from the State as they would with a married couple. Very few of my family and friends would understand if I had children with another woman. But my wife and I have talked about it. We’ve agreed that if a woman falls in love with our whole nuclear family and wants to be a part of it we would make it work.
