I am sitting in my living room looking out the front window. There are two evergreen bushes outside with one on either edge of the window. In those bushes is a flock of sparrows. I like to watch them pick at the top of the bushes and fly up down and through the open space between them. It’s fascinating how even in the middle of town there is so much wildlife. Sparrows, squirrels, rabbits and birds of prey that feed on them. An occasional turkey or deer but those usually stay in the more forested areas on the edges and trails.
