My youngest has my phone and is watching YouTube on it again. It just started playing Tom Sawyer by Rush.

My mind is rented out to the god of The Book of Mormon and to the preservation of The United State’s Constitution. That actually gives me a lot of latitude in speech and action without going so far off the rails that I can’t be corrected. That’s the trouble with Tom Sawyer. A man that does not believe in anything is capable of anything. It makes for good music but an uncivilized lifestyle. I don’t know anything about the personal lives of the members of Rush, but their fame and profit is contingent on a lot of things that the music doesn’t seem to acknowledge. Entertainment is an industry, and the industry is constrained by laws and public standards. Tom Sawyer may skirt gods and governments for a while but it ultimately falls into patterns dictated by them. Rush’s objection is overruled.
