Latter Day Sinner

One of the challenges with a blog is to write something new and interesting every day. This would be a little easier if I was just writing fiction. If for instance I were to say: The hairy plaid monster took the man as his wife. That is probably new. It might even be interesting. But it is not true. I try to keep this blog about things I am fairly convinced are actually true. In the two years I’ve been doing this I probably covered all the ones that are important to me. I don’t go back and reread my old posts very often but neither do you. Truth doesn’t need fancy words to be true, but I rarely discover new truths, and struggle to write them with clarity so my readers will find them interesting. Sometimes that just means my words are too fancy.
