Latter Day Sinner

I am a member of the American Solidarity Party. I paid my dues for the year and have not asked to be removed from the rolls manually. I have tried to commit myself to a whole life vision, but… The illegal immigration thing is really getting under my skin. Every day that passes I have less and less sympathy for the people in the United States illegally and the people defending them. They are human beings but the phrase “no human is illegal” is beginning to really piss me off. Being in the United States is not a human right. There are 8 billion or so people in the world and they can’t all live here. I am asked constantly to have solidarity with the immigrant but I am finding that harder and harder to do. The Republican Party is making more sense to me than it usually does and that is creating cognitive dissidence with my commitment to the Solidarity Party.
