Late Father’s Day

Today my son William took me out to lunch at a place called Whiskey Ranch. He doesn’t approve of alcohol so he was a little hesitant to try the restaurant. I assured him that he did not have to have any whiskey. Neither one of us drive, but the restaurant is in between my house and his apartment, so we walked and met in the middle. We talked about life and I tried to tell him about his great grandfathers. They lived in a different world than he and I do. It was a good meal and he payed both the check and the tip. It was a good late Father’s Day.
