Latter Day Sinner

I’m a big fan of spiders. We usually just leave them alone. We’ve got a big ambush spider on the corner of one of the steps going into the basement. It has been there for weeks so it is obviously eating well. I’m cool with that. A little while ago I saw a chunk on the kitchen ceiling. I wiped it down and it turned out to be another big spider. It fell on the floor and played dead. I knew that was a bad idea considering its chances of actually ending up dead from being stepped on or even eaten by the cats. I gently picked it up with the tip of a knife and let it out a window. If I’m ever in the wrong place at the wrong time I hope God will do the same for me.
