Latter Day Sinner

Today was Fast and Testimony Sunday. I wasn’t planning on going to Sacrament Meeting but I decided to fast anyway. I started my fast at 11 pm Central Time. When I woke up in the morning I got news that the prophet and president of the church had passed away at almost exactly the same time. I was also met with the news that a middle aged man ran his truck through a ward building in Michigan, got out of the truck and started shooting the congregation. The building was on fire as well but the authorities don’t know if that was deliberate. I didn’t go to church but I’m glad I was fasting to deal with all this.
