Latter Day Sinner

The Restored Gospel would have not been possible without freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and freedom of religion. It is no coincidence that the world was only ready for modern revelation in the United States where those freedoms are at least theoretically guaranteed. The LDS Church does not go where it would be illegal. This is practical for the safety of the Saints but it is also a matter that areas of the world where the Restored Gospel is not welcome are almost certainly not ready for it. You can tell how free a society is by how many Mormons are present. We worship God according to the dictates of our conscience and that is just too much for some people to bear.
