“This is the Life”

Ben is sitting next to me listening to Weird Al. “This is the Life” is a fun song.

“Women lined up outside my door/They’ve been waiting there since a week before.”

“You’re dead for a real long time/ You just can’t prevent it/ So if money can’t buy happiness/ I guess I’ll have to rent it.”

I have a good life but I still want more wealth and children. For the former I would just like enough money to defend myself financially most of the time. We’re still treated like we are poor. I suppose if I had kids with a woman other than Stephanie that would make the financial situation of everyone involved worse. At least I’m not still trying to do Amway. I did that because of Weird Al too.

  1. What does Weird Al have to do with Amway?

“Ain’t gonna work in the field no more.
      Gonna be an Amway distributor.”

I also wonder how much Richard Pryor joking about his time in the Army primed me for the recruiters.

      2. I read D&C 135 again today. I don’t want to be murdered in an Illinois jail.
