Latter Day Sinner

A lot of people believe that we just have to be our authentic selves and the world will be a better place. I disagree because a lot of people are gross. I am the pot calling the kettle black. The proper response to trolls on the internet is not to troll them back. But I do. I’m not a good enough person to never tell anyone to go fuck themselves. Do they deserve it? I rarely take a step back to decide whether they do or not. I might take it back later but the real visceral me “shoots” first and cleans up afterwards when my more rational measured self gets control back. The visceral self is definitely more real than the rational self though.
