Latter Day Sinner

The USA has a troubling history of dehumanizing people. Tribal people weren’t seen as human at all. African slaves were 3/5 of a person. Jewish, German, Irish, Italian, and Japanese citizens faced prejudice that dehumanized them. Today Muslims aren’t fully welcome as equal citizens and unborn children are in many places not considered humans at all. The police are monsters to some and to others the criminals are the monsters. I need to personally do a better job at remembering the humanity of my fellow citizens. You probably do too.
