Most sites on the internet make it too easy to stay logged in. It is convenient and for anything that doesn’t seem particularly sensitive I don’t care. But there are a few sites that I want to remain logged out of on my phone. If the phone is lost or stolen, I want it to be just a little harder to access that sensitive data. And sometimes I just decide not to log back in. If I log completely out as I did with META, and my life is better without the account, then I will have to intentionally change my choice instead of just clicking a button and being in a toxic place that isn’t worth my time. There is a strong logic to logging out once in a while instead of just closing an application. Do it! Free yourself!
