I went to Sacrament Meeting today. One of the talks was by a sister from Nicaragua who presented in Spanish. She had one of the girls in the ward repeat what she was saying in English periodically. It was a good talk and I understand a lot of religious words in Spanish so I almost didn’t need the translation. After the service I was led by the spirit. To go over and introduce myself in Spanish. I fumbled a short greeting and it turned out her English is better than my Spanish. We talked for a few minutes before I hurried to my class. She’s a sweet sister. I do find it odd that I never seem to actually need Spanish. This is probably why I’ve never gotten good at it. Maybe someday.
